PIKOM Software and Services Showcase 2008 or PS³ 2008 is a business technology event attended by businesses, large and small. It aims to increase the rate of ICT exposure among the business community. This is important as it bears a direct influence on trade competitiveness of nations.

WCIT 2008
Malaysia has the honour of being the third Asian nation, after Japan and Taiwan, to host this event in WCIT's 28-year history, which brings together global leaders from business, governments and academia. At WCIT 2008, ideas on the use of technology and specific policies to effect economic and social development will be discussed. A Link Program for business matching plus a series of business-to-business, business-to-Government and business-to-industry meetings are also part of its highlight. WCIT is organised once every two years and the premier signature event of the World Information Technology Services Alliance (WITSA), which represents more than 90 per cent of the global IT industry.

Situated at the centre of Malaysia's capital central business district, KL Convention Centre is Kuala Lumpur's most technologically-advanced, purpose-built facility for hosting exhibitions, conferences, meetings, seminars or special events. It has a gross built-up area of 120,000m on a 7.3 acre site comprising auditoriums, exhibition spaces, a grand ballroom, conference halls, a banquet hall and 20 meeting rooms equipped with advanced telecommunications, multimedia and high speed connectivity. PIKOM is Malaysia's largest and most influential ICT Non-Government Organisation. It has a successful 20-year-old track record, contributes in shaping Malaysia's ICT policies and currently represents more than 80 per cent of the ICT industry in Malaysia. PIKOM organizes PIKOM PC Fair, a consumer-oriented ICT fair, the largest of its kind in Asia Pacific due to its frequency and size since 1995. PIKOM PC Fair is held three times a year and each time in as many as 16 locations nationwide. PIKOM is also collaborating with the Government of Malaysia to stage 16th WCIT 2008 in Kuala Lumpur.
